The Rocky Health Foundation is dedicated to supporting healthcare initiatives that boost the quality of life for patients and families in our community.

Our History

Founded in 2002 as the Rocky Mountain House Health Centre Donation Committee, our initial aim was to lead fundraising efforts to secure vital medical equipment and support programs at the local health center. Through the generosity of our community and corporate sponsors, we organized successful events like the Annual Hospital Gala, which yielded substantial funds for patient care improvements. Key early accomplishments included acquiring electrically-operated patient care beds and supporting critical programs such as maternity care and cardiac equipment. In 2016, we transitioned into a self-sufficient entity, known today as the Rocky Health Foundation. Our continued collaboration with the community and the health center ensures we meet the evolving needs of patients and staff, reinforcing our commitment to enhancing healthcare services.
